Most of what we do is not dramatic. It is a faucet that will not stop dripping, a toilet that runs all night, water pressure that dropped off and nobody knows why, or a shutoff valve that has seized solid at exactly the wrong moment.

Sinks, showers, tubs, toilets — we can fix them all

That line is on our homepage and we mean it literally. If it carries water, drains water, or is supposed to stop water, it is our problem to solve. We carry the common parts on the truck, so a good share of these calls are one visit.

We tell you before we touch it

You get a price before any work starts. If a repair is not worth making — if the fixture is old enough that you would be paying us twice within a year — we will say so and tell you what replacement costs instead. That conversation costs you nothing and it is the reason people call us back.

Signs you need this

  • Dripping that will not stop A tap that drips once a second wastes over 3,000 gallons a year, and the cause is usually a worn part rather than a worn-out fixture.
  • Water pressure that dropped Sudden pressure loss across the whole house points at the supply line or a failing regulator, not the faucets.
  • A toilet that runs If you can hear it refilling when nobody has flushed, the flapper or fill valve is leaking through — cheap to fix, expensive to ignore on a water bill.
  • Damp where it should be dry Warm spots on a floor, a musty smell under a sink, or a cabinet base that has gone soft all mean water is escaping somewhere.

Estimates are free for Freedom Preferred members. For everyone else a standard service call fee applies — we come out, diagnose it properly, and quote the real number rather than a guess over the phone.

General Plumbing Repair — common questions

Do you charge to come out and look?

For Freedom Preferred members, no. For everyone else there is a standard service call fee — $60 residential, $90 commercial — which covers a proper diagnosis rather than a guess over the phone.

Can you tell me the price over the phone?

For straightforward swaps, often yes. For anything behind a wall or under a floor, no honest plumber can, and we would rather look first than quote you a number we have to change later.

Do I need to be home?

Usually yes, at least to let us in and to approve the price before we start.

How fast can you get here?

Call and ask — we schedule same-day where we can, and a real person answers the phone to tell you either way.
